Striped in classic red and white, the small blade on this size 0 Aglia reflects the early American design preferences for Mepps spinners. Weighing in at a light 3/32oz (2.5g), this specimen is a prime example of the finesse approach Andre Meulnart’s original 1938 French design offered for trout and panfish. This specific lure, bearing Product Code 3924, remains in its original green and white 'Mepps Killer' packaging, which features the Antigo, Wisconsin, mailing address—a nod to Todd Sheldon’s early distribution efforts. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in length, the assembly includes a clean brass-colored body and a sharp treble hook. The back of the mounting card still carries the vintage 'Save 25c' coupon offer for the Mepps Fisherman’s Guide, once priced at only 50 cents. As a condition 6 specimen, it is unused and has been preserved within its plastic bubble. The silver-finished blade is designed to catch light while the cone rotation system allows for rotation even at low retrieve speeds.
