Stamped clearly on the silver blade of this 1/8oz (3.6g) spinner is the "British French Pat." mark, a classic sign of the early design legacy by Andre Meulnart. This Mepps AGLIA 1 dressed specimen, product code 18676, measures 2" (5cm) and showcases the traditional French-made blade paired with components assembled in the USA. The silver plating on the blade remains bright and legible, featuring the "Made in France" stamp on the reverse side. Moving down the shaft, the brass body weights are accented with three deep-red painted rings, leading to a hand-tied treble hook. This hook is dressed with natural squirrel tail hair, displaying rich shades of brown and black with a subtle orange transition, all secured by a tight wrap of red thread. Every component reflects a condition rating of 5/5, representing a well-preserved example of the world's most famous spinner. The clevis system is designed for rotation upon the retrieve, a mechanical hallmark of the Aglia since its 1930s origins. The wire form is straight and the hardware remains free of any oxidation, preserving the integrity of the original assembly.
