Stamped with 'French Pat.' on its copper blade, this Mepps Aglia 2 reflects the brand's cross-continental heritage through its 1980s US production. Weighing in at 3/16 oz (4.5 g) with a total length of 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), this size 2 spinner utilizes the classic cone-and-clevis assembly for smooth rotation. The treble hook is outfitted with a red strike-tube sleeve on the shank, a characteristic detail designed to provide a focal point during the retrieve. This specimen, identified by product code 17672, is unused and remains on its original green and white 'Mepps Killer' carding. The reverse of the packaging offers a window into tackle history with an order form for vintage apparel, listing Mepps fishing caps and T-shirts for $2.50.
