Stamped clearly with "MADE IN FRANCE" and "FRENCH PAT." on the reverse of the silver blade, this specimen represents the classic European craftsmanship that defined the Mepps legacy. The natural squirrel tail dressing showcases a striking dual-tone transition from dark brown to bright orange, tied off with a bold red thread at the hook shank. Tipping the scales at 3/16 oz (4.7 g) with a total length of 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), the size 2 Aglia is a staple for mid-sized stream and lake fishing. The brass hardware, including the iconic ribbed body with its red-painted accents, remains in excellent shape. Rated at a 5/5 condition, the silver plating on the blade is bright and the hand-tied dressing is well-preserved.
