Weighing 3/16oz (4.7g), the Mepps Aglia 3 dressed UV shows the classic French-made blade stamped with 'Mepps Aglia 3' on its face and 'Made in France' on its reverse. This particular specimen, cataloged under product code 8812, measures 2 1/4" (5.5cm) from the eyelet to the bend of the treble hook. The hook itself is adorned with a hand-tied dressing of natural squirrel and deer hair, secured with a distinct red thread wrap to provide a natural profile and subtle pulsations during the retrieve.
