Weighing in at 1/3 oz (9 g), this specific spinner features a classic gold finish on its characteristic teardrop blade. The blade face bears the historical stamps of "British French Patent" and "U.S. Pend," a direct link to the mid-century period when components were manufactured in France and assembled in the USA. Measuring 2 3/4" (7 cm) in total length, the lure’s body is constructed with a series of stacked, grooved metal beads that provide the necessary ballast for casting. This specimen, identified by product code 4423, includes a small brass bead sitting just above the segmented body which acts as a bearing for the clevis. The gold-colored blade is paired with a large, unadorned treble hook. In a condition rated at 5/5, the metal surfaces maintain a bright, reflective quality across the entire assembly. The cone rotation system is engineered to allow the blade to spin upon contact with the water, responding to the retrieve speed. This clean example of the #4 size is frequently sought for targeting larger pike or bass in varied water conditions.
