A hand-tied tail made of natural squirrel and deer hair gives this 1/3 oz (10 g) spinner a distinct profile in the water. This Mepps Aglia 4 dressed (squirrel tail), identified by product code 7489, showcases the classic French-made brass blade stamped with the Mepps branding and its origin. Measuring 2 3/4" (7 cm) in length, the lure features a series of red and yellow beads stacked on the wire to provide a visual strike point near the weighted body. The hook dressing includes subtle red turkey-quill accents, a detail that Mepps introduced to mimic the gills of prey fish. Every component, from the brass clevis to the sharp treble hook, remains in excellent shape, meriting a condition rating of 5/5. While the components were manufactured in France, as noted on the blade's stamp, the final assembly took place in the USA.
