Adorned with a vibrant Red Metallic finish, this Aglia Platinum 4 shows off the craftsmanship associated with Mepps' Franco-American heritage. Weighing in at 1/3oz (9g), the spinner's construction features components manufactured in France and assembled in the USA. The classic Aglia blade, contributing to a 2 3/4" (7cm) total length, is stamped with the recognizable 'Mepps AGLIA' branding and the size number 4. Behind the blade, three matching red metallic beads provide weight and visual continuity along the wire shaft, separated from the clevis by a small brass spacer. The hardware includes a sharp treble hook, which is distinctively finished with a section of red tubing over the shank. Bearing the product code 1915, this specimen remains in unused condition, appearing exactly as it would have when first leaving the assembly line. The underside of the blade reveals the 'Made in France' stamp, a hallmark of the original Andre Meulnart design that Todd Sheldon popularized in the States.
