Stamped directly into the gold blade is the 'Made in France' hallmark, reflecting the origin of the primary components used for the Mepps Comet Mino 1. Although the hardware was crafted in Europe, this specific example (Product Code 4143) was assembled in the USA. The assembly features a brass weight with three distinct red-painted grooves leading into a soft plastic minnow body. This trailer is finished with a dark, olive-toned back that fades into a gold flank, mimicking natural forage fish. Measuring 3 1/4" (8 cm) in total length, the lure is equipped with a sharp treble hook anchored at the tail of the minnow. The hardware and the soft body are both in 5/5 condition, showing no signs of aging on the metallic surfaces or the flexible trailer.
