Museum Archive: Vintage Mepps Syclops 2, 3/5oz Trout fishing spoon #8923

Adorned with a classic Trout pattern, this S-shaped spoon features a distinct blue-to-pink gradient along its upper edge. The silver-scaled bottom half is accented by black dots, leading to a prominent black-and-white eye near the line tie. On the reverse side, the polished metal is clearly stamped with "MADE IN FRANCE" alongside the Mepps Syclops branding and the 17 g (3/5 oz) weight. Measuring 7.5 cm (3") in length, this specimen carries the product code 8923 and presents in excellent 5/5 condition. The hardware consists of a sharp treble hook fitted with a vibrant red attractor tube on the shank. This size 2 model reflects the precision engineering typical of French-made tackle.
