Nickel finishes provide a classic flash that veteran trout anglers rely on for clear-water trolling. Scaled patterns are stamped directly into the metal body of this 2" (5cm) spoon, creating a multi-faceted surface that reflects light. Weighing 3/32oz (3g), the slim profile is a hallmark of the Luhr Jensen design philosophy for its Needlefish 2 series, identified by product code 1877. This specimen is unused and remains preserved in its original bubble pack, bearing the classic Hood River, Oregon, manufacturer labeling. For the best presentation, the design is intended to be trolled about 100 feet (30.5 m) behind the boat on light line, as the lightness of the frame is not optimized for casting. The factory-equipped single hook and nose split ring are original and in excellent shape. When pulled at a steady 1.5 miles per hour, the technical shape produces a sharply fluttering wobble.
