Norman

Norman Lures is an American fishing lure manufacturer founded in Oklahoma. The company is known for its high-quality plastic crankbait manufacturing technology and for being among the first to use clear Lexan plastic for lure lips, making them far more durable.
The company was founded by George Norman in the 1970s in Norman, Oklahoma (the source of the company name).
Norman Lures quickly built a reputation for making some of the best crankbaits in the US, particularly favored in professional bass fishing tournaments.
Lexan Lips: Norman was a pioneer in using clear, extremely durable Lexan plastic to make the diving lips of their crankbaits. This gave their lures increased longevity and a more stable action.
Norman lures were made from a high-quality plastic compound which gave them a unique sound profile and buoyancy compared to competitors using wood or other plastic materials.
Most Famous Lures:
Deep Little N: A classic deep-diving crankbait that set the standard for bass fishing.
Fat Boy: A short, "fat" crankbait known for its fast, aggressive wobble.
QuarterBack: A medium-diving lure that became extremely popular.
Professional Edge: A line of high-performance baits geared toward tournament anglers.
oday, Norman Lures is owned by the PRADCO Outdoor Brands group (which also includes brands like Bomber, Heddon, and Rebel), but their crankbaits continue to be produced under the original name and according to classic specifications.
They remain a staple in bass tackle boxes across North America.
