Museum Archive: Vintage Panther Martin 4, 1/8oz spinning lure #23404

A tri-color gradient of green, yellow, and orange defines the face of the blade, which is marked with a series of bold black spots. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in length, this Panther Martin 4 is a classic example of the Italian-made through-the-blade construction. The specimen is in 5/5 condition, appearing exceptionally clean and well-preserved with its vibrant factory paint and polished gold blade reverse. A weighted teardrop body provides the 1/8oz (4g) mass, finished in a metallic silver that fades into a yellow hue. A single gold-tone bead sits between the body and the blade on the wire shaft. The lure is finished with a sharp, bronzed treble hook attached via a sturdy wire eyelet. Cataloged under product code 23404, this spinner features the traditional stamped markings on the underside of the blade.
