Weighing 1/8 oz (4 g) and measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cm), specimen 4021 features the iconic vibrant orange teardrop body that provides the necessary ballast for accurate casting. Unlike typical in-line spinners, the wire shaft passes directly through the silver-plated blade, allowing it to rotate closely around the body. The blade itself bears the authentic stamped markings "MARTIN" and "1009460" alongside "ITALY," confirming its vintage heritage. Rated at a condition of 5/5, the lure is exceptionally well-preserved, with the orange paint on the body retaining its deep saturation and original luster.
