Weighing in at 1/8 oz (4 g) and measuring 2" (5 cm) in length, this spinner showcases the iconic shaft-through-blade construction that allows the brass blade to spin directly on the wire without a clevis. The weighted teardrop body is painted in a high-contrast black with distinct yellow spots, a pattern used to create a strong silhouette. This particular specimen, identified by product code 17045, features a treble hook expertly dressed with brown hair and a tight red thread wrap at the shank. The brass blade also carries the vintage manufacturer's logo of a leaping dog, synonymous with these Italian-made lures.
