Stamped clearly into the brass-finish blade is the classic Martin logo alongside a majestic lion icon and the origin mark of Italy. This particular specimen, identified by product code 16961, weighs 3/16 oz (6 g) and measures 2" (5 cm) in length. The oval blade features a pattern of horizontal orange stripes over the brass base, designed to provide high visibility. Following the through-shaft blade is a teardrop-shaped lead body in a dark grey finish with visible orange paint highlights. Rated at a condition of 4/5, the lure retains crisp markings and original hardware, including the treble hook. The patent number 3885 remains legible on the lower portion of the blade, documenting the heritage of this Italian-engineered design.
