Stamped directly into the gold-finished concave blade is the distinct lion logo alongside the "Italy" origin mark, a hallmark of these early European-made spinners. This specific Panther Martin 6, carrying product code 17183, features the classic teardrop-shaped body weighted at 3/16oz (6g). Measuring 2" (5cm) in length, the lure exhibits the iconic black finish accented with three bold yellow dots on its weighted torso. The blade is mounted directly through the shaft rather than on a clevis, a structural design intended to facilitate rotation even at lower retrieval speeds. On the face of the gold blade, the "1009460" patent number and the "6 U" size designation remain sharp. The hardware includes a seasoned treble hook attached via a solid wire loop.
