Museum Archive: Panther Martin Svizzero Siluro, 3/16oz fishing spoon #17242

Glittering silver and deep blue dominate the finish of this 3/16oz (6g) Italian-made casting spoon, which features a distinct row of black vertical accents along its lower edge. Identified by product code 17242, the Panther Martin Svizzero Siluro showcases a slim, teardrop profile measuring 2 1/4" (6cm) that is well-suited for a variety of freshwater species. The reverse of the blade is a clean, polished silver, providing a high-contrast flash. Attached to the rear via a split ring is a treble hook dressed with white feathers, designed to add a soft visual element to the presentation. To assist with line management, a dark-finished barrel swivel is already attached to the nose split ring. This specimen is unused, exhibiting a clean appearance with only minor surface marks consistent with long-term storage outside of its original packaging.
