Three distinct blade finishes—hammered silver, polished brass, and bright copper—provide a range of visual flash for this vintage set of spinners. These specimens, identified by product code 12905, remain unused and are still attached to their original 'Penguin Quality Fishing Lures' packaging from the Western-Hoelee Co. of Glendale, California. Each lure measures 2" (5.0 cm) in length and is constructed with a series of faceted red beads on the wire shaft to provide a pop of color behind the size 4/0 Bear Valley style blades. Manufactured in the USA, the assembly reflects the mid-century tackle design intended for light-line applications, with each individual unit weighing a delicate 3/64 oz (1.4g). The yellow and black header card features the classic penguin mascot and identifies this as the 'No. 99-10' series. With a condition rating of 6, the metallic surfaces and hardware are exceptionally clean, preserved behind the original clear film.
