Pirate Spoons are designed for fishermen who want a quality spoon with real silver plating. Silver-plated lures closely mimic the flash of distressed baitfish. The best way to fish with Pirate Spoons is on planer boards with one or two split shots, 75 to 125 feet back. They can also be long-lined with split shots, 100 to 150 feet back, or used on downriggers anywhere from 4 feet to 100 feet (best depth and temperature).

*Spoons are lacquered to preserve the genuine silver finish. Some pros use fingernail polish remover to take off the lacquer and then apply silver polish frequently to the spoons.
