Museum Archive: Vintage Pro King, 2/5oz Fluorescent Green / Orange fishing spoon #1851

Fluorescent green and textured orange meet in a sharp, jagged pattern across the face of this USA-made trolling spoon. Stamped clearly on the polished silver reverse is the Pro King brand name, signifying its heritage in Great Lakes fishing. Weighing 2/5 oz (12.5 g), the body is shaped for effective water displacement during trolling. Measuring 3 3/4" (9.5 cm), the lure is equipped with a large single hook and stainless split rings. Identified by product code 1851, the finish is preserved in 5/5 condition. The honeycomb-like texture on the orange half provides a high-contrast flash against the solid green upper portion, a classic color combination for deep-water visibility.
