Museum Archive: Rabble Rouser Angel Eye, 2/5oz fishing lure #18885

Weighing 2/5 oz (12 g), the cream-white body of this specimen is accented by a prominent green diamond scale pattern along its dorsal side. This 3 1/2" (9 cm) Angel Eye, identified by Product Code 18885, features the signature Rabble Rouser "Bug-Eye"—a large red and white target designed by Douglas W. Parker in 1951 to help fish zero in on their prey. Built for both casting and trolling, the lure is rated to reach a diving depth of 3 ft (0.9 m). It incorporates a patented sound chamber and is equipped with original factory hooks. As a Condition 6 specimen, it is unused and remains sealed in its vintage blister pack. The reverse of the card provides helpful instructions for tuning the lure by slightly bending the screw-eye to ensure it tracks straight during use.
