A long, clear plastic diving lip dominates the front profile of this vintage Rabble Rouser Ashley Probe Deep, designed to reach depths of up to 20 ft (6 m). Housed in its original packaging from New Philadelphia, Ohio, this specimen carries product code 18857 and features the signature "Bug-Eye" that Douglas W. Parker first introduced to the angling world in 1951. The lure measures 2" (5 cm) and weighs 1/4 oz (7 g), presenting a metallic color scheme with a greenish-silver back, bright silver sides, and a soft pinkish throat. This specific floating lure remains unused, preserved behind its original plastic bubble. The backing card details the "Sound Chamber" construction and provide technical instructions for tuning the lure by adjusting the screw eye. Its oversized yellow and black eyes were a patented concept intended to provide a strike-inducing focal point during deep casting or trolling sessions. The hardware consists of two sharp treble hooks, which remain in factory condition.
