Wearing a "Natural" foil-scale pattern, the 3 1/2" (9cm) body of this sinking minnow represents a classic era of Finnish craftsmanship. The Rapala Countdown, identified by product code 2720, weighs 2/5oz (12g) and is built to operate at depths of 7ft (2.1 m) to 10ft (3.0 m). Silver-scaled sides are complemented by a dark back and a white belly, featuring a touch of red under the chin for added contrast. Its construction reflects the traditional manufacturing process in Finland, where lures were handmade and individually tank-tested to ensure performance when casting or trolling for pike, trout, and zander. This particular specimen is unused, housed in its original turquoise box which indicates its status as the "Original Finnish Minnow."
