Measuring 2 3/4" (7cm) with a weight of 1/4oz (8g), this Rapala Countdown UV (Product Code 8205) represents the classic Finnish tradition of balsa wood lure design. The Chartreuse colorway is particularly striking, featuring a vibrant neon back over silver scale-patterned sides and a localized orange-red throat. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the body emits a strong glow, a technical feature specifically intended for better visibility when targeting zander, trout, or salmon in low-light environments. As a dedicated sinking model, it is engineered to reach depths between 5ft (1.5 m) and 8ft (2.4 m), providing versatility for both casting and trolling techniques.
