Museum Archive: Vintage Rapala Husky Jerk 7, 1/4oz fishing lure #15530

Textured silver scales and a deep orange belly define the classic look of this Irish-made jerkbait. Measuring 2 3/4" (7 cm), this Rapala Husky Jerk 7 carries the 15530 product code and weighs 1/4 oz (7 g). The olive-green back provides a subtle contrast to the bright metallic foil sides. Its clear diving lip is factory-set to reach depths of 4ft (1.2 m) to 6ft (1.8 m). Looking closely at the head, the yellow eyes remain bright and perfectly centered. The hardware consists of the original dark-finished treble hooks, which are well-preserved and firmly attached. This specimen is in 5/5 condition, showing a clean surface over the balsa construction with the scale pattern still sharp and distinct.
