Weighing in at 3/16oz (6g), this balsa wood minnow is a preserved piece of Finnish angling history. The Trout (TR) finish on this 4 1/4" (11cm) body shows the delicate spotting and cream-to-gold transition that vintage collectors look for. This Rapala Original Floater F11 carries the product code 11908 and remains in unused condition within its original box. Since the 1930s, the design of the Original Floating series has relied on the natural buoyancy of balsa to reach a controlled depth of 3ft to 5ft (0.9 m to 1.5 m). The clear plastic box sleeve preserves the "Hand Tuned Tank Tested" marking on the black cardboard insert. Each lure was individually balanced to ensure performance right out of the box, whether used for steady retrieves or surface twitching. The classic metal lip and dual treble hooks remain clean, showcasing the standard for Rapala's output during this era of production in Finland.
