Measuring exactly 2 1/4" (6 cm), the balsa wood body of this Finnish classic shows the character of a seasoned lure. This specific specimen, identified by product code 17902, weighs 3/32 oz (3 g) and is weighted to reach depths between 2-6 ft (0.6 - 1.8 m). The gold finish features a distinct textured appearance, complemented by a solid black back and the classic yellow-and-black eyes. In its current 3/5 condition, there is visible wear and paint loss at the tail tip, along with minor scuffing on the belly. The original hardware includes two treble hooks attached via metal split rings that show a natural darkening from age. Looking closely at the diving lip, the Rapala Finland stamp is clearly visible, marking its origin from the Lauri Rapala tradition. Its lightweight balsa construction is designed for casting or trolling in the upper water column.
