Weighing exactly 1/8 oz (4 g), this balsa wood minnow represents the foundational design that Lauri Rapala first carved in the 1930s. The Silver (S) finish on this 2 3/4" (7 cm) body features a dark, contrasting back over a foil-scaled side, complete with a distinctive red accent beneath the front eyelet. Crafted in Finland, this specimen carries the Product Code 23876 and is presented in a 4/5 condition, showing a clean surface and well-preserved hardware. The iconic yellow eyes with black pupils are positioned forward on the head, just above the clear diving lip which is designed to take the lure to depths of 3 ft (0.9 m) to 5 ft (1.5 m).
