Museum Archive: Rapala Rattl'n RAP, 3/5oz fishing lure #3815

Weighing in at 3/5 oz (16g), this sinking rattle-style lure is designed for covering a variable depth depending on the retrieve. The 2 3/4" (7cm) body displays a classic natural shad pattern, characterized by a silvery-white belly transitioning into a scaled darker back. A prominent black spot is positioned just behind the gill area, which features a soft red accent. On the belly, the clean "Rattlin Rap Finland" stamp remains perfectly legible. This specimen, identified by product code 3815, is unused and retains its original factory hardware including the two dark-finished treble hooks. The golden eyes are set deeply into the head, matching the authentic profile found in early Finnish production. It comes housed in the original yellow-bottomed box with the Ace Price sticker still attached to the clear lid.
