Museum Archive: Vintage Rebel Double Deep Shad, 2/5oz Silver fishing lure #12466

Finished in a classic silver scale pattern, this vintage lure features a dark gradient along its dorsal side and a bold red gill accent. Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g) and measuring 2 3/4" (7 cm) in length, it is a well-preserved example of American tackle history from Rebel. The clear, oversized diving lip is embossed with the "REBEL DOUBLE DEEP SHAD" name and houses a sturdy split ring for deep-water casting or trolling sessions targeting pike, zander, and perch. A single black lateral spot provides a striking contrast against the reflective silver body. Carrying product code 12466, this specimen is in 4/5 condition, showing very light evidence of its time in a tackle box while remaining clean and display-ready. Its hardware consists of two original-style treble hooks, and the head is finished with large, realistic eyes with a yellow iris.
