Museum Archive: Vintage Rebel jointed Floater, 1/4oz Natural fishing lure #0903

The "Natural" finish on this 3 1/2" (9 cm) minnow features a classic cross-hatched scale pattern over a silver body to mimic common forage fish. Produced in the USA by Rebel under product code 0903, this jointed floater is constructed with two distinct body segments. The specimen is rated at 4/5, showing some light signs of its age while maintaining the integrity of the paint and hardware. At a weight of 1/4 oz (7 g), it is designed for surface and shallow-water presentations. A clear diving lip is mounted at the front to facilitate depth control, and the head is finished with large yellow eyes with black pupils. Two treble hooks are secured to the underside and tail of the lure.
