Museum Archive: Vintage Renegade Little Diver, 1/3oz Pearl fishing lure #8475

Carved from Jelutong wood, the body of this Renegade Little Diver features a Pearl finish enhanced with UV-reactive properties. Weighed at 1/3oz (9g) and measuring 2 3/4" (7cm) in length, this casting lure is built for targeting species like chub and perch at depths up to 6.5 ft (2 m). The visual pattern consists of dark vertical barring across a pearlescent flank, accented by a bold red gill mark behind a classic yellow-and-black eye. Each specimen in the 8475 series underwent hand-processing, ensuring a high level of finish across the wooden frame. This particular lure is in 5/5 condition, retaining its original sheen and sharp, untarnished treble hooks. The clear diving bill is securely integrated into the head, positioned to reach its target depth while maintaining the buoyancy inherent to its natural wood construction.
