Stamping its mark on the angling world with space-age technology, this 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) stainless steel spoon features a specialized no-chip coating on one side and a bright stainless finish on the reverse. Joseph F. Renosky, the renowned inventor behind the Banjo Minnow, designed these spoons with the belief that lures must be as realistic as possible to fool the sharp senses of game fish. This specific Renosky Laser Spoon, product code 17251, is finished in a Shad pattern, designed with a hydrodynamic curvature intended to prevent line twist during both trolling and casting applications. Weighing in at 2/5 oz (12 g), the lure’s construction allows for versatility in both fresh and saltwater environments, targeting species like bass, trout, and pike. The original packaging includes a vintage retail sticker indicating 'S 1/4 SMELT' at the top, though the official color attribute is Shad. Preserved in its original blister pack, the specimen is unused. The reverse of the card highlights the use of high-grade stainless steel, ensuring the fish imagery remains intact even after contact with structure or debris.
