Museum Archive: Seneca Little Cleo Spoon, Nickel Blue Scale, 3/16 oz (5 g), #24547

A vibrant blue scale pattern over a nickel base characterizes the face of this original Seneca-made casting spoon. Stamped with the "LITTLE CLEO" name on the reverse, the 1 1/4" (3 cm) body displays a distinct gold-colored stripe that bisects the scales. This particular specimen dates back to the era before the Seneca Lure Co. was absorbed by Acme in the early 1980s. Weighing 3/16 oz (5 g), the compact design is weighted for precise casting on light lines. Having never been used, the lure is in condition 6, showing the clean factory finish of a well-preserved vintage find. This American-made hardware carries the product code 24547.
