Silver plating on this 3/4 oz (21 g) casting spoon catches the light in a way only vintage metal can. Identified as the Seneca Swimmer (Product Code 1020), this USA-made lure serves as a fascinating historical bridge, known as the prototype for the legendary Side-Winder design. Measuring 4" (10 cm) in length, the metal body features a distinct cross-hatched texture that adds visual depth to the silver finish. The hardware includes a feathered treble hook at the tail, secured by a sturdy split ring. These white feathers are bound with a vibrant red thread, providing a small but intentional focal point at the rear of the spoon. Showing light signs of its journey through time, the specimen is in 4/5 condition, maintaining a strong shine and well-preserved feathered trailer. The teardrop shape of the metal blank is specifically weighted for long-distance casting.
