Produced in Costa Rica, this 1/2 oz (14 g) Strike King Diamond Shad is a classic example of early lipless crankbait design from the 1970s. The silver and blue finish features a distinct diamond-textured scale pattern across its 3" (7.5 cm) body, designed to catch and reflect light. This specific specimen carries the model designation DS-1 on the back of its vintage red card and is identified as product code 22038. As a sinking lure, it offers variable depth control, allowing anglers to target different sections of the water column through casting or trolling. A prominent yellow eye with a black pupil provides a high-contrast focal point against the metallic sides. The hardware consists of two treble hooks, still secured within the original clear blister packaging.
