Museum Archive: Vintage Strike King square bill, 1/4oz fishing lure #10026

Heavy green and gold glitter covers the back of this 1/4 oz (7 g) square bill. Produced in the USA and identified by product code 10026, this Strike King model measures 2" (5 cm) and is weighted for a diving depth of 2-4 ft (0.6-1.2 m). The paint scheme flows from the sparkling green top into a cream-white belly, accented by a pinkish-red throat and a bold black spot on the side. Gold-colored eyes with black pupils give the lure a lifelike appearance. Its square, clear lip contains embedded glitter and is securely attached to the floating body. Equipped with two sharp bronze treble hooks, the lure is in 5/5 condition, showing no signs of use. This configuration is often favored for casting or trolling when searching for pike and walleye in shallower structures.
