Three distinct red dots mark the upper section of the nickel-finished body, a classic visual hallmark of this specific design. Weighing 1/3oz (10g) and measuring 2 1/2" (6.5cm) in length, this specimen is unused and remains in its original yellow and black carded packaging. Produced by the Prescott Spinner Co. out of Akron, Ohio, prior to the brand's acquisition by Fred Arbogast, the lure is marketed as a "2 in 1" tool. The hardware consists of a single treble hook attached to the wider end for deeper presentations, though the design allows the angler to move the hook to the narrow end for shallow-water flashing. This original Doctor Spoon 265, identified by product code 18889, retains its bright, reflective silver-tone surface and original split ring. The packaging provides technical guidance for trolling and varying the retrieve speed through rod movement to maximize the flashing action.
