Stamped clearly onto the concave underside of the brass body, the Thommen Ripple Scooter branding identifies this as a rare piece of American fishing heritage. Weighing 3/16 oz (4.5 g) with a length of 1 1/2" (4 cm), the spoon utilizes a unique "stepped" or rippled design across its gold-finished surface. Etched eye markings sit symmetrically on the bulbous head section, flanking the forward line-tie hole. As a USA-made lure that has long since left production, the specimen shows no signs of use, retaining a high-gloss finish. A clean split ring secures a silver-tone treble hook at the trailing edge. The lure is in 5/5 condition, exhibiting crisp stampings and a perfectly maintained metallic coating.
