Museum Archive: Acme Tornado Spoon, 1/4oz Silver / Red / White fishing spoon #10811

Silver plating with a textured, scale-like pattern characterizes the convex surface of this 1 1/2" (4 cm) lure. Weighing in at 1/4oz (7g), this specimen is a discontinued design from Acme’s history, identified by Product Code 10811. The face features a specific pattern of five red dots and four white dots, the latter of which are designed to react under ultraviolet light. On the reverse side, the name "TORNADO SPOON" is stamped directly into the metal, denoting its USA production origin. This lure is unused and remains in excellent condition, though it is no longer accompanied by its original packaging. A steel split ring holds the treble hook in place, intended for casting or trolling applications.
