Stretching 19 3/4" (50 cm) in length, this classic two-tone organizer represents the robust utility Plano Molding Co. was known for during their Illinois production era. The white upper shell and contrasting gray base house a complex interior featuring 6 cantilever shelves that open to reveal 45 individual compartments for lures and terminal tackle. On the latch, the original stamping clearly displays the 8600 model designation alongside the "P" logo and an iconic leaping fish graphic. This USA-made specimen, carrying product code 6574, retains its structural integrity with fully functional hinges and locks. Measuring approximately 11" (28 cm) in height and 9 7/8" (25 cm) in width when closed, the box shows some light surface scuffs from previous excursions but remains free of cracks. The sturdy white handle and metal bail latch components operate smoothly, reflecting a well-maintained condition of 4/5.
