Weighing in at 1/8oz (3.5g), this mid-century spinner exemplifies the classic construction collectors seek in early French-designed tackle. The brass blade is stamped with the Aglia name alongside British and French patent markings and a "U.S. PEND" designation, reflecting the 1960s era when Mepps components were imported for US assembly. Measuring 2" (5cm) in length, the lure features a distinctive brass body with deep concentric grooves that provide a substantial profile. A bright red protective sleeve sits over the shank of the treble hook, a common visual trigger used in this period. The stamping on the reverse side of the blade clearly identifies its French origin, while the overall condition is a well-maintained 4/5. This size 1 model is built on a straight wire frame with a top loop for a swivel, designed for the blade to rotate around the weighted body as soon as it begins to move through the water.
