The specimen is in 5/5 condition, showing the high quality of its original components, though it is noted that one point of the treble hook has been clipped. Its design centers on the cone rotation system, a technical innovation by Andre Meulnart that allows for immediate blade engagement. While these became a Wisconsin fishing staple thanks to Todd Sheldon’s distribution, the French origins are clearly reflected in the blade's stamping and hardware.
