Museum Archive: Vintage Whopper Stopper Shadrac, 1/2oz fishing lure #23360

The distinct orange chin patch on this specimen serves as a classic strike point, contrasting sharply against the dark, shimmering body. Identified by product code 23360, this Whopper Stopper Shadrac measures 3 1/4" (8 cm) and carries a weight of 1/2 oz (14 g), designed for deep-water casting techniques. The finish features a deep black back transitioning into silver-grey sides, accented by a subtle green pectoral fin detail and a sharp red gill mark. Manufactured in the USA, the lure is found in excellent 5/5 condition, with the glossy paint and oversized clear diving lip remaining fully intact. Each treble hook is fitted with distinctive gold-toned shank wraps, a signature hardware touch from the manufacturer.
