Yakima Bait

Yakima Bait Company is an American manufacturer  boasting one of the richest histories in the realm of trout and salmon fishing lures.

Founding: The company was founded in 1934 by R.B. Worden as the Worden's Floating Spinner Company.

It was renamed Yakima Bait Company in 1941.

 The company actively expanded through the acquisition of key brands, solidifying its market position:

Although the Flatfish was originally designed by Charles Helin (Helin Tackle Co.), Yakima Bait acquired the brand and turned it into a global phenomenon.
