Museum Archive: Vintage Z-RAY Lures Z-Ray, 1/8oz Frog fishing spoon #11505

Three distinct black spots ringed with pale yellow halos decorate the deep green body of this classic Frog pattern spoon. Tipping the scales at a delicate 1/8oz (3.6g), this Z-Ray Lures specimen (product code 11505) is a prime example of the 1 1/2" (3.5cm) casting model. The brand name is stamped clearly in black ink on the upper face, and the entire finish remains in excellent 5/5 condition. This particular design features a unique double-bend profile, engineered by the USA-based manufacturer to catch light differently than traditional flat spoons. A silver-toned treble hook is secured to the tail by a robust split ring, while a single line-tie hole sits at the nose. The underside of the metal is painted a uniform green to match the primary base color.
