Museum Archive: Heddon Tiny Torpedo, 1/4oz Green fishing lure #8947

Dressing a 1/4 oz (7 g) frame, this surface high floater features a classic green frog pattern with distinct black spots and a bright white eye. Housed in its original PRADCO-era packaging, this specimen carries the product code X036089 and is unused, appearing exactly as it did when it left the factory. The 1 7/8" (4.8 cm) body is equipped with a free-spinning rear propeller designed to create surface disturbance and a bubble trail upon retrieval. Heddon’s heritage, established in 1894, is present in this 1990-copyrighted edition assembled in Mexico. The hardware includes two belly and tail-mounted treble hooks, intended for targeting bass, northern pike, or speckled trout. The clear blister pack preserves the finish and the silver-toned rear prop without signs of aging or shelf wear.
