Gold-toned blade surfaces adorned with distinct black horizontal stripes and vibrant red dots immediately catch the eye on this delicate Swiss-made spinner. Originating from Switzerland, this Monti Swiss Lure represents the precision engineering typical of European tackle mid-century imports. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5cm) and weighing 3/32oz (3g), the lure is built on a slim wire shaft with a single bead and a clean treble hook. It carries product code 14666 and remains in unused condition, still housed in its original blister packaging. The cardboard backing, imported by Pranois Inc. of Tenafly, New Jersey, retains its vintage yellow price tag marked at 67 cents. According to the reverse of the card, these lures were specifically balanced for targeting trout, black bass, and perch. The original packaging shows some tape marks and storage wear, while the lure inside retains its factory-applied paint and metallic luster. A small hole is present at the top of the card for retail display, and the backing lists a variety of available weights ranging up to 3/4 oz for larger species like steelhead.
