Red and white stripes across a nickel-plated spoon make for one of the most recognizable profiles in fishing history. This particular Weedless Dardevle Imp, carrying product code 13087, weighs in at 2/5 oz (11 g) and measures exactly 2 1/4" (5.5 cm). Eppinger’s signature devil logo is stamped clearly on the white stripe, a hallmark of their Michigan-based production since moving to Dearborn in 1959. The weedless configuration is achieved through a strategically placed wire guard over the hook, allowing for casting into thick weeds where predatory fish often hide. Unused and still housed in its original blister pack, which also displays retailer code 2516, the lure remains in clean, factory condition. The reverse side is finished in polished nickel, providing significant flash when retrieved through the water column.
